We're going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it's not because their car is full of dirty socks, but when this question came in to Matt Wells, one of our technicians at Nalley Honda, it was a little puzzling. Fortunately, Matt had some good insights:
When the air conditioning runs for an extended period, it sweats and after a while can leave the filter smelling like dirty socks. Make sure to get your pollen AC filter replaced once a year to help keep the air purified and your passengers breathing in fresh air.
Matt's other tip for the month:
Rotate your tires every 7,500 miles. If you don't, this will cause the tires to wear unevenly and wear out twice as fast. This will decrease the overall life expectancy of your tires. This is especially true with the front-wheel cars where all the pulling takes place in the front.
